I have a dripping kitchen faucet that I'm unable to stop. It's an Eljer single handle from 1998 (builder installed).
Used to be if I pushed the handle slightly over towards the cold, it would stop dripping after a few seconds, but now that doesn't work anymore so it always drips slowly.
I've checked Lowes/Home Depot, but they each only carry parts made by Danco and they offer nothing for Eljer. They only seem to have standard donut shaped o-ring styles, that I or the employee could find. I contacted Danco, but the woman wasn't much help and had no clue about Eljer.
My cartridge looks like the VP1964 or VP1965 shown here:

And my port seal rings are in oval recesses, like those. I read that Eljer was the manufacture of the Valley brand.
The cross-section of my port seal rings are squared. They're about 2mm tall. I did try some Danco o-rings just to see if they worked (they didn't seal at all) but they did fit fairly well in the recesses. The package said they were 7/16" OD.

This shows "VP1952 - Port Seal Ring - fits V1964 and V1965", and they look similar to mine.

This shows they're 13/32" OD. 1/16" smaller than the Danco o-rings that I tried.
So is VP1952 what I need? If so, it's sold in this Danco VA-500 kit, along with spout o-rings which hopefully would fit mine (assuming those go around the cart):
