Just like a urinal. People pee in it and never flush. That's why a lot of companies are using automatic flush valves as they are
tired of having to get the drain cleaned out all the time.

I heard once that a public building (may have been a rest stop?) switched all the urinals to the “flush less” kind…and within a period of time the acidic concentration destroyed the older metal pipes. Could be a “story” but I’m all for flushing! The more water the better!
