My question is twofold: First: I bought a Central Brass Laundry faucet, Model 0468, and while it came in a Central Brass box the stamping on the faucet said "China". I thought CB was USA made. Did I get a knockoff?

Second: The fittings are either copper or brass and I will be connecting the faucet to galvanized pipe. Is there a problem of hooking the two unlike metals together and maybe creating a thermocouple?
