Tankless install - do I have a problem ?

Hi. New to the forum, but I have a question about a tankless water heater install done yesterday by a local plumber.

It was late in the day, and I think they wanted to just finish, but it appears as though some of the gas lines are crimped - I do get hot water, but it just doesn’t seem right. Our plumber is going to come back out and install a different model (this Navien is way too big), but I need to know if I also need him to fix the gas lines. Appreciate any advice here!

For a few bucks, I'd replace them. The installers seemed to stretch them to the limit, and beyond. No reason for that.
