Tank losing water

Kohler canister I've replaced the o seal twice
At night turned the water off
The next morning tank was empty
Any thoughts

Not familiar with the Kohler system "BUT" there are numerous YouTubes on "special" instuctions for the Kohler units. Seems Kohler has a specific gasket.
