My main sump pump is a Zoeller M-53, 1/3 HP which needs 2849 watts start-up and 1056
watts running.
The back-up at this time is the PHCC2400 Pro Series S3033, also 1/3 HP which uses 850
watts start-up and 460 watts running.
What size power station should I look at for coverage for 3 or 4 days (not continuous) during an outage?
My thoughts...It would seem that I need a unit able to supply 2849 watts as both the primary and backup
won't be starting/running at the same time. Is this so? Also, iIs it possible to just get a power station that will back up the back-up and not the main?
Also, can the PHCC still be used as an extra back-up in case the
power supply runs out during a prolonged outage or the first pump is damaged?
Thank you!!
