Hello everyone, sorry I'm a newbie when it comes to plumbing. I'm currently trying to remove this bolt as seen in the picture below. I have been trying for the past 2 hours but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Wear goggles and a face shield then use a dremel tool to cut the nut off.

Looks like a cast iron sink. The "nut" is aluminum or zinc "pot metal" which is very soft. I use a smaller drill bit (3/32" or so) and put a hole into the narrow part of the nut then use a larger drill bit (1/4") to make the hole larger and usually it cuts through the side of the nut and then you can take a screwdriver and bend the nut open. Wear safety goggles.
I'm not positive what this is (it looks like a soap dispenser). The spout should just lift out and then you could use a moto tool from the top and carefully cut the flange off there. I've done this a number of times, like when I can't get a good grip to unscrew the drain flange of a vanity pop up drain.
