I want to remove my garborator from my twin sink. I am wondering what parts I need to buy. I know I need a standard drain with tailpiece but what do I use to connect to existing pipe to replace the brass flange that is there
I have included a picture of the brass flange and the side of the garborator
I am not sure of the size of the brass flange but it does look a bit bigger than the tailpiece of the second sink. There is no room to cut out the connection on the right side and replace with something else
thanks

sorry for the confusion I want to take out the garborator permanently and replace with piping so I was going to put in a standard drain and then connect up to the existing piping somehow
thats where I am confused

the 3 bolts in the picture [monsters eyes]

take them out, that holds the basket strainer in place..you might have a clip ring, if you do, pry it loose with a screw driver

buy a standard kitchen sink strainer assembly with a 4'' tail piece and some plumbers buddy

I dont know about the drainhook up, back off and take another picture.
