Hi gang,
I need to replace a shut off to an old toilet. I hope to unscrew this one and screw on a new one. Can someone tell me exactly what I need? I have shopped and I am now confused. Thanks

can't tell wether thats a round hand or football shape handle , doesn't matter, there are valve repair kits...2 washers
one goes under the big brass nut the other goes on the end of the stem inside the valve its very easy much cheaper
and much faster
shut the water off at the meter
drain down some water
open the toilet valve about half way
remove the larger brass nut
back out the stem from the valve body
inside the pipeto make sure there is no debris
remove the old washer from the stem.push on the new on
the larger washer is under the bigger brass nut
that is self explanitory

Looks like a quarter turn valve

Thanks
Guess I’m trying to make sure I get the right valve. I’m not what I’m looking at where it’s connected on the inlet side, the pipe coming from the wall. Is that pretty standard?
