Kerdi has their own drain that solvent welds (glues) to 2" PVC. That is what you will need.

I think the glue comes with the shower kit, but not a problem if I have to order it too - just did not decided if I want to order thru HD or go to a local kerdi rep and get the extra stuff like the kerdi fix and probably their recommended thinset
