Sewage smell from Laundry Room?

We purchased our home August 2016 and replaced the sewage ejector pump in October 2016 because the pump and floats were 15 years old. We've been having this sewage smell from our laundry room after I do a load of laundry.

Any clue on what could be happening here? Is it something to be concerned about? Is it common? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

how is the drain from washer piped into the pit?

does it have a trap? does it have a vent?

is your washer a front loader?

What do you mean by piped into the pit?

It is not a front loader - old fashioned top loader.
