My field is above my house so I have a septic tank + pump tank. Two of us are in the house. I have my septic tank and pump tank pumped every 2.5 years and I personally clean the filter between the septic tank and pump tank every 6 months, per my septic guy's recommendation and instructions. So far, so good. My system is 20 years old with an EZflow field. By the way, EZflow is made by Infiltrator. They are 2 completely different systems. Our local health department likes the EZflow system and at least personally, with the steps I take to keep it in good shape, I've had no problems.
