rusty pipe fitting

I have a 3/4 " water pipe in back yard that is very rusted. I would like to cut it and put an elbow to a hose bib. It cannot be threaded, so, is there a fitting that I can use for a bare rusted pipe?

Can the opposite side of that pipe be unthreaded so you could join another threaded pipe with it?
