Rheem 4 month old tank not heating

We have a 20 gallon Rheem tank, only 4 months old, that has stopped heating. The element had a lot of calcium on it so we tried having it replaced but that didn’t help. We have since realized that the tank came mislabelled with the cold water inlet labeled for hot, and hot outlet as cold, so it was installed incorrectly. We called Rheem and they confirmed it was incorrect labeling. That has now been fixed but it is still not working. Any suggestions on what we can try aside from replacing it?
We have to wait until Monday to contact Rheem again but in the meantime I’m hopeful someone has encountered this and has some idea.

The internet is full of instructions on how to check electric WH.
If you don't have the equipment and complete understanding, then a pro.
But, Rheem warranty is the process you should take.
