Hello guys, long time reader - first time poster. Being a new homeowner, I have a feeling I'll be here a lot
So my wife wants to replace our current kitchen faucet with a new faucet. Not sure of the brand of the old faucet, but the new faucet is an American Standard. I understand the concept of replacing the faucet, but where I am confused at is the bottom of the current faucet. I was expecting to see a threaded shaft to unscrew the old faucet and pull it out, but its not threaded. It's a metal "cup" that is soldered to the bottom of the sink it seems. I attached a photo, hope it helps. How in the heck do I remove the old faucet? I also attached a photo of the new faucet.
Thanks in advance!
