Hi,
I have a 10 year old clack valve softener 48k grain that still works fine, but I can tell the resin is ready to be replaced...again. It's at least $300 for resin and gravel. Or I could just buy a new 42k grain Rheem at Home depot for $529. I believe the Rheem is more efficient. The clack has been a reliable valve, but it seems to go through a lot of salt. Any recommendations?
Thanks!
Brian
