A not-so handyman nicked a corrugated water pipe that connects a pump installed at the bottom of a well of a pondless waterfall, to the top of the waterfall, recycling the water. Because of the pressure of the pump, when it is on, the water spews out of the leak.
The piping is corrugated, about 2 inches in diameter. Our handyman tried to insert a smaller pipe which was the same size and therefore didn't enter either end of the corrugated pipe. He also said it is virtually impossible to seal any inserts on a corrugated pipe. And recommended we replace the entire pipe (4-5 meters) which is a day's work as we would have to empty the well of river stones to get to the bottom where the pump is.
Question: is there a leakproof way to repair the hose without replacing it?
Thanks for any advice!
