Removing old sink...no nut??

Hi all, we are trying to remove and old style sink but there is no large nut under the granit top that secures it. (Like the newer styles have) Please see attached image. How is it secured? What do we need to do to remove the sink?

that small nut holds that big washer remove the hose, remove nut
