Hi all. We have a shallow buried PVC water line going to my wife's garden. One of the T-junctions has started to leak. It's a small drip that occurs where 1 of the lines enters the fitting. But it's enough to create a puddle above ground after awhile.

Is there a way to fix this without replacing the T? To replace the T I'd have to cut all 3 lines, glue on extensions, and then put in a new T. That's making 4 connections out of 1. So I'm wondering if there is a product or technique that can fix this leak without major surgery.

Thanks

Curt

if, you can get the old pipe out of the tee

use one of these

You can try that tape stuff at lowes that they fix shovel handles and such with. It is suppose to be water proof. But I would wager that you will be revisiting this same issue again in the near future and will have to replace the tee then anyways. It comes down to now or later.
