Ooh, ok, so a 1/8 bend is a 45 degree bend? Right.. I'll have to take note of that. So, a 22.5 would be the proper bend to go in to the wall.

I'm guessing Fbjru is under UPC code-- hence the shorter requirements for developed length allowed.

yes. if offsetting the vent below the flood level rim.

when you are 6'' above the flood level rim, 45's and 90's are good to go on venting

1/4 bend is a 90,
1/8 bend is a 45
1/16 bend is a 22.5

why ?

because if anything backsup, it could block the vent

Under IPC, you can use 45 degree offsets below flood level rim. You just can't be more than 45 degrees from vertical. So, the dry vent taken off of a drain line that turns horizontal and runs over to a wall is against code. If I understand correctly, UPC permits this?
