I wan to replace the old style shower 910-374 units with 910-030. I came up with two styles for the same Pfister number. Which one would be correct and can I use my old handles sleeves, and escutcheons? Any help would be appreciated.

if you have a valve that uses seats and stems you can not install ceramic stems in that valve. in order to have ceramic stems like the ones you are showing you need to install the correct price phister valve

I talked to Pfister and was told to remove the seats and it would work. I should have ask about the different styles. They mat not be as up to speed as you folks are.

it is not that you cant it is that you will have problems by doing it. i would advise using the stems that came with the original valve or install a new shower valve
