I have a Glacier Bay One handled faucet installed, and it has broke. I have a replacement model (better quality). The problem is I can't get the nut that holds the faucet in place (has the hot, cold and spayer attachement coming down the center) off. I just can't seem to get any kind of wrench up there to get it out (Ive even tried a basin wrench, not enough clearance around it to get at it). Im lost as to how in the world I am going to get the very thin metal nut off to get the faucet out.

Any suggestions?

When I first read the subject line I thought it said "One handed faucet removal help" and wondered why anyone would have to use only one hand.

I can't help with that faucet but would recommend TWO hands!

I'm presumming you are talking about a kitchen faucet.
I have used a drill to split the nut.
Here is a pitcure of something similar that was drilled to remove.
Make sure you wear safety glasses.
use sharp drill bits and don't force it.
start with a smaller bit and change to a larger one.
