Hello everyone, I have a question regarding my 1920 house's bathroom plumbing. I believe the drain pipes in the wall are cast iron. The leak was just in the old chrome plated trap. After disassembly, this is what I will have to reconnect the new trap to. It's got rust and doesn't appear to have threads. I hope I can still use this fitting somehow. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions :)

It’s time to replace that pipe. There’s nothing much left of it.

This picture shows the drain in a larger context.
