Old Bathroom Sink Wall Drain

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding my 1920 house's bathroom plumbing. I believe the drain pipes in the wall are cast iron. The leak was just in the old chrome plated trap. After disassembly, this is what I will have to reconnect the new trap to. It's got rust and doesn't appear to have threads. I hope I can still use this fitting somehow. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions

Oh, that is the wall, not the sink drain.

Thanks, maybe I'll start removing some of the plaster around it.
