Hello,
I have a new water pump, new tank, new pvc, and new footvalve. There is only about 20psi. It worked one time for about 3 seconds now it doesn't pump out anything. What should I try?
The pump is a deep well pump with just one pipe (the ejector is close to the pump above ground). We checked the depth of the water, and its about 10 feet but it doesn't work. We even tried a pipe about 2 feet shorter in case it was hitting the bottom of something.
Since the old pipe was 30 feet, and the water is 10 feet deep, I was guessing as long as the foot valve is several feet into water it should work right? So even a 20 foot pipe should work but its not working. I can see down the pipe with a flashlight and the water looks very deep and nice. I just wish I could splash that water onto my face.
