I just updated my old galvanized pressure tank that had an air volume control with a new 40 gallon bladder tank. It actually reduced my flew rate I need to know why because I need to install a backwash ing iron filter

What psi does your pump kick in? And how much air was in the bladder before you turned the water on?

Did you use smaller pipe somewhere? What did you add that you didn't have before the new tank install? What did you do with the fitting for the air control?
