Need retrofit valve to install bidet

Hi guys,

My condo came with a soldered water outlet and I don't want to remove it just so I can have my own valve for the bidet I'm trying to install.

A plumber suggested a retrofit valve, but I don't know which one to look for because of the size. Also, here's the link to the bidet - not sure if it's helpful for you to see the size of the pipe that needs to screw on to the other side of the valve you're going to recommend.

Two problems:

1. I don't know what measurement valve I should buy
2. No idea where in Toronto Canada I can get it. I would prefer to pick it up from CanadianTire or HomeDepot.

Attaching pictures so maybe all the gurus can make a guesstimate.

The easiest method (to me) would be to use an adapter as shown below-

(Angle Stop- Add-A-Tee Valve- 3-8in Comp Inlet X 3-8 Comp Outlet X 3-8in Comp Outlet Brass - LASCO 06-9111)

From that adapter you would use a 7/8" IPS X 3/8" COMP toilet supply tube to the toilet inlet valve and a 3/8" COMP X 1/2" COMP hose (most likely the flexible supply tube supplied with the sprayer).

The valve(s) shown below will split the supply line as needed but will also allow one to regulate the water pressure to prevent excessive bun flutter, anal stretching and possible scrotum damage...

Yup, detail nut is better haha.

The other one is way too confusing for a newb like me. So, the retrofit valve you're showing - is what I need but I need the measurements. The retrofit valve that was originally recommended to me was a Dahl Retrofit (should have mentioned it the first time, sorry) and the problem was I don't know what measurements to get.

I don't really understand what you're asking. The valve you listed has 3/8" compression female end to attach to the old valve, and two of the male ends for compression for you to attach your fixture supplies, both 3/8". It's at the top of the page

Apologies for being unclear. When I see "3/8" COMP to a 7/8" Toilet" or something to that effect, I don't understand it because this is the first time EVER I'm doing any house work. Figured installing a bidet as long as I know the measurements wouldn't be hard so I'm trying my hand.

After being told that the only alternative to not needing to solder a new valve to the water supply is a Dahl Retrofit, I ended up searching online and found this one at an online store.

Because I don't know what's what, I am here asking if that Dahl Retrofit valve would fit the old soldered valve that I have attached the picture of.

The DAHL RETROFIT 511-41-31-31 is perfect for what you want to do, i.e. split the riser into two separate supplies.
