Hello to everyone, I am new to the site and hoping to find help. I am a senior citizen with a leaking outside sillcock. It only leaks when the hose is connected to the sillcock and under pressure and the leak is coming out of the stem area. The sillcock is a Matco-Notca model 1019A. I call a local plumber to help find the problem. The First thing out of the plumber's mouth was I need to replace the entire unit. Well, I live in a townhouse and the sillcock and piping are in a shared wall with another unit. He told me that he would need to cut a hole in the wall to have access to the plumbing at a cost nearly $900 dollars. I know the problem is just a bad o-ring or rubber packing washer. I looked up the manufacture's website to find a repair kit, but they do not offer one, so I am at a stopping point. My question is there any aftermarket repair kits that will work with this sillcock? Thanks for any help or info.
