The cartridge in the valve for my shower has started to leak. I am looking to replace it, but I can't identify the part # or manufacturer. I do not see any distinguishing marks/logos/names on any of the cartridge, or on the trim either. I sent emails to Delta & American Standard, and their customer service says this is not one of their products. The house was built in 2001, and I assume this unit was installed at that time. The valve is for a tub spout and shower head, and controls both temperature and water volume. I have been to my local home improvement stores, and they do not have anything close to the cartridge in my unit.

Show is the trim, maybe one of us can identify
OK. Unfortunately the trim piece in the knob was missing when we bought the house.

@GReynolds929 thanks for the suggestion. I will try those manufacturers.

@Geofd I did try a local plumbing supply house, and they could not identify the cartridge. I am going to try a couple of others.

One more question - Is the stainless steel tube that the cartridge sits in threaded into the brass part of the valve assembly (the part that the water supply pipes and shower/tub pipes are soldered into), and if so, is it normally a standard size? If I can't get hold of a cartridge, I wouldn't be opposed to buying an entire shower valve and just replacing that part.
