Need a pressure regulator?

Diehard,

is there an easier place for me to test the water pressure inside the house? If I do it at the washing machine, a ton of water will leak out. I’m not sure how to do it at the hot water tank? I think I’ll get a tattletale test valve like Frodo is saying.

remove the shower head. install gauge on the shower head nipple
turn the shower on cold,
the thread is 1/2'' ips male your gauge is 3/4 hose female
you will need a 1/2'' female x 3/4 hose adapter
or..buy a gauge that is 1/2''


or, remove tub spout. and test there
