Hello, I've got an older Navian NPE-240A tankless water heater, and it is using the Peakflow E filtration system. They no longer make the filter (GXXX001726) for this, and so I was wondering if the newer Peakflow S (GWFC110GD001) is a drop in replacement or if I will need to replace the whole entire housing assembly for the new filter?

Have you contacted Navien?
Thank you for the reply. With the vast knowledge now available in bed and on my phone I thought I'd pepper spray the entire universe with this question. I did an extensive search late into the night before utilizing not only my own built in AI but countless others - that only resulted in being told that (GXXX001726) was discontinued.

I've also had two contractors comeby for estimates in adding recirculating plumbing, and both tried to up sell me on a new and improved everlasting maintenance free filtration system... $$$$$

So again thank you for the enlightenment as I await an answer from the Tankless Water Heater Gods known as Navien.

The filter cartridge you linked says it’s the direct replacement for the E series. IMG_6681.jpeg

I've received a response from Navien tech support,

Hello,

PeakFlow S replacement filter is compatible with the PeakFlow E and should be used as the replacement filter for existing PeakFlow E units.
