Hi everyone. I'd like to move my toilet about 18". I thought it would be pretty simple but when I removed the floor I found it to be more elaborate than I expected.

I'll attach a picture to help. As you can see the tub drain is attached to it. Is this something I should have a licensed plumber look at? What would you do?

If you have limited experience with plumbing, I would call a pro. You have cast iron with poured lead joints. It is possible to change over to PVC but can cause a novice big problems.

Majak is on the money here, that stuff is a total pain in the butt to work with. Even your pro will hate you ;)

Yep, I agree with everyone else. That will be a little bit of a headache even for the pro, but it's definetly do-able. Let a pro handle this one.:)
