Need to replace the cartridges and the under sink hose mixer assemblies (?) on a 15 year old Moen widespread bathroom faucet.

Cartridges leaky
Hose underneath broken

Any parts suggestions much appreciated!

The hose assembly you’ll have to order. Moen might send it all to you.

The cartridges are held into the valve body by an internal plastic cartridge nut. Moen makes a special tool to remove the cartridge nuts. They’re recessed deep in the valve body. You’ll have to remove the red/blue handle adapters first.
Then reach in with needle nose pliers and yank the cartridge out.

You can use a 3” deck screw to screw into the old cartridge then yank it out with pliers. That’s another way.

I’ll post a link to the cartridges and the tool.

Thanks for that! I've ordered the costly ($5) tool.

Those replacement cartridges don't exactly look like what's there. What's there seems to be a splined plastic part that doesn't stick up beyond the brass "rough in" valve. The 1224 cartridge seems to have a "keyed" plastic protrusion that sticks up way past the rough in. What am I missing or not understanding? I've attached as reference a photo of a 1224 in place from the Amazon website, doesn't look anything like the photo I posted of the old setup.

As this is an older setup (somewhere between 10-15 years) Moen's warranty is not in force. I did find the following however, to replace the broken part(s) underneath: https://a.co/d/iAAxz5e That's the Moen branded part. There are a few no-name parts at ⅓ the price but ALL of them indicate "frequently returned item" on Amazon. (maybe with this hose assembly compromised and a leaky cartridge, people just opt to replace the entire faucet...who knows...)
