I want to replace my basic laundry sink faucet (has separate hot & cold taps) with a one piece kitchen faucet that has a pull down sprayer.

The existing faucet has a built in connection for a trap primer (I'm in Canada) and it has a plastic tube connected to it that runs down into the basement and into the cement floor. Kitchen faucets don't have prime trap connections and I'm looking for a solution to reconnect the plastic hose somewhere else in the system or any other solutions that would work. Help! Thanks.
Connection to faucet
Tube going into Basement floor
(I borrowed these pictures from the internet but it's the same setup I have now)

Thanks for that suggestion but I think that would catch the drain water which could easily clog the little trap primer tube.

Any other suggestions?
