I am having trouble with my kitchen's hot water. Kitchen was recently updated and have been having problem since renovation. When I am at sink running hot water there will be a bang under sink/or maybe in basement and hot water will not work. I can still get cold water but when i turn to hot nothing comes out. I can either shut water off of keep cold water running and 30 seconds later or so the hot water will start running again. Under sink there is 1 shut off with 2 outlets for hot water(1 to faucet and 1 to dishwasher). I have a feeling that these may be happening to dishwasher too because sometime i hear the bang when it is running. I worry i may be destroying my dishwasher. Any ideas what could be causing this?
