I'll keep them on the phone as long as a I can. If I can spare someone else the hard time I'm all for it.

I don't think most people getting debt collection calls deserve this harassment. I got a few for bills I didn't know I had (medical). As they didn't follow the correct chain of command I would give them a hard time.

I can talk about nothing a long time... most of my life evidently.

I used to get calls for debt and I would change the subject on them several times and then give them nothing. I made a game out of it.

Seems like the lengths they go is excessive.

I have an annoying family member that's going to start getting the solicitor treatment if she keeps calling to chat during dinner.

She calls for my wife and always says this will only take a minute. 30 min later her food is cold and we're done.

I have been called for jury duty AGAIN next month. It's been more than a year, so I can't get out of it.

They say it has nothing to do with being registered to vote, but I NEVER got called up when I was a deadbeat citizen.

Oh well, the job I am on is about to start winding down, so if I am gone for a little while, it won't be a major problem.

You can't go I need you to run out here and run some of this work I have. I have never been so busy in my life with work.

I would LOVE to get my hands dirty doing some different types of piping. I ran a crew installing a little bit of 16" storm drain with solvent cement fittings a couple of years ago. Forget picking up a piece of that pipe and dropping it in the ditch. Fun fun FUN!

I get to do some trim out work this weekend, toilets, lavatories, kitchen sinks, that type of thing. My least favorite phase of plumbing, but I have got to get this last building semi complete by Monday morning.

At least you are busy, and hopefully making money, right?

I hope that works out. Hearing collection stories from contractors is a nightmare.

I got burned for fifteen grand from a job a couple months back. Now the guys phone is off. I am hoping i will get paid eventually.

I keep getting the same answer every time I can finally get a hold of them. We don't know why you haven't been paid. I'll look into it.

I would just go down there and have a sit in till they pay you.

That's my advice.
