It's that time of the year when I always seem to have to adjust the temperature on the water heater.

It's that time of the year when the temperature of the water coming into the house drops lower and lower necessitating the increasing of the thermostat on the gas water heater. Short of installing some very expensive piece of hardware, if there even is any, that would "automagically" keep the temperature constant or hiring a personal assistant to shower with me, is there anything that can be done?

I suspect it's just something that we all have to live with but I could be wrong.

Its body temp and room temp. The rooms are colder so you need warmer water to make it comfortable for you. My upstairs is like that. In the summer i crank the water temp down because the upstairs is warmer than down. The bathroom is also larger and has 2 outside walls where down just has one.

Ironically, my wife was just complaining that the water wasn't as hot as it normally gets, so I went out and moved the dial one notch to the right. With her last shower, she said it works wonderfully for her now. My crisis has been averted!
