I am a little overwhelmed with all the research I have been doing on how to find a cost effective way to deal with iron in our well water. I have yet to send a sample of the water off to have it tested to see exactly what I am working with.

Is there such a cost effective way to deal with iron in the well water I am unaware of over the high dollar filtration systems ?

I think the best approach to iron is to treat the entire well. You can also treat the water once it’s pumped out of the well.

Google it and read all about treatment.

Unfortunately I have no access to the well and will have to treat the water on my end coming in. I will also have a large cistern and a boost pump to improve the water pressure.

I been googling it and have not found a cost effective way to deal with iron, so this is why I asked the experts!

Cost effective is very subjective. I’d call a local pro and talk about solutions that have been effective in your area.

There’s a guy here I can call and he’s drilled water wells all over the county that can tell me approximately how deep descent quality water is.

It’s good to have a guy that knows the area and what has worked in the area for him.
