Hi all, new here. I recently had a plumber connect this pex pipe to a water heater....It looks like the line is only on the fitting about 3/8' inch and just wanted to know if this is connected right so it doesnt pop off or anything. Thanks.

Expansion fittings have a tendency to slip ahead of the pipe a bit. That's not perfect, but it's acceptable. I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks for the replies guys...So you dont think its going to pop off at anytime? I just dont want a massive flood again, thats why this pipe was re routed from the original concrete slab copper line sprung a leak....

I quote matt..is "better than nothing"..but isn't correct at 100%

seems a little bit short..but maybe is only the prospect of the photo..anyhow,don't worry, this fitting doesn't leak..nothing flood
