Good morning,

I am a plumbing teacher and want to show my students how to powered snakes to unclog tub drains and our snake drains. The pipe for the sinks is 2" and the tub drain is 1 1/2". I was thinking paper towels because I have plenty of that on hand, any other suggestions? I know this may be a stupid question and thanks in advance.

If your gonna is paper towel not to much
They will get it i, f your going thru 2" use a 3/8 cable it's just stronger that's what I use just be careful, have them listen to the motor,+watch the cable so they don't wrap themselves up

Great, thanks for the tips. I may get some hair from the hair dressing department to help clog the drains.
