Help removing this faucet handle

I have a leaky faucet in my bathroom and can’t seem to figure out how to remove the handle to fix. I’ve tried unscrewing the handle but it does not appear to be screwed in. I can’t feel any caps or screws around the entire thing. I suspect the fixture is original to the 1988 house and can’t seem to find any info on this particular faucet or figure out who makes it.

Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!

Put a small screwdriver in this slot to pop off the top. You then should see a Phillips screw

Thanks. That did the trick. They even had the replacement cartridge at the store.
