Amateur plumber posting for the first time...
Looking for some advice in replacing a Mira Select (circa 2004) with a new Hansgrohe Ecostat Select. I've gotten so far as removing the Mira mixer but came to a dead end as I don't have an olive remover. Cue lots of swearing and refitting the mixer... Once I've managed to get the olive and backing plates off, I'm confused by the Hansgrohe fitting instructions. I don't understand how the fitting is meant to connect to the copper pipe, or is this where I find out there are special Hansgrohe fittings / converters to connect to standard UK pipes?
