hope i didnt so something stupid...
purchased a standard 60" 1/2" flex kit. It comes with the 1/2 flare x 1/2 mip adapter that is connected to the stove. It also have a 1/2" mip x 1/2" flare efv safety fitting for connection to gas valve supply.
Instead of using the safety valve at my 1/2" brass fip gas valve i used a second 1/2 flare x 1/2 mip union adapter, the same kind that on the stove regulator/valve.
Is there any problem with that setup?
Isnt that how the kits used to come before the saftety adapters became standard?
