We woke up to frozen pipe(s) as it was -15 here in Kentucky. We can unthaw the hot water line and have both lines open, but there is almost no pressure. Water has been checked by the water company. Water pressure is fine in other location (same line), just bad inside the house. Never had an issue like this lol and have dealt with frozen pipes for 50+ years. Close hot water faucet and the cold has plenty of pressure (normal), we just found this out

sorry to be a simple answer guy here, but, diagnosis is step by step to isolate issues. If pipes have no break, water flows when there is no blockage, simple physics. Sorry you are having trouble.

Thanks, I really appreciate that! We have only been here a few years and most of the house was built with good ol' redneck engineering, so we are still trying to figure out where all the pipes have ben run.

Open all sink cabinet doors to get heat there, remove the aerators just to make sure they aren't clogged you could use a hair dryer and point it at the water pipes and the wall you should have someone at the water meter just incase there is a break

Was there any freezing near the water heater. You may have a ice blockage somewhere

Yes lol. I was just headed here to let everyone know we have water. Hubby refused to believe it broke loose the first time and thought I was confused. Turns out I wasnt, and when we applied heat to the elbow feeding the rest of the house (close to brick wall and concrete slab) and also the section that comes from main line. It broke loose in less than 20 minutes. We also found all the plumbing lines in the house now! Thank you all for your time and help <3

If you can secure foam board insulation to the brick that would stop some of the air seepage
