Hi All,

Since using these forums some time ago to fix my toilet, I am now expanding my empire to help my parents.

They have a minor leak leading to refilling cistern, and I'd like to first replace the seal on the flush valve. However their flush valve looks totally different to mine - is there anyone who can tell me what model this is? If I know, I can source a new seal.

Many thanks for any assistance, I'm hoping this is bread and butter to someone out there :)

Andy

Hi Geofd,

While you've only made a passing friendly comment, it's actually led me to the answer!! To avoid american fittings I googled "flush valve uk" and trawled through the images... after a few mins I came across what I was after - it's a brand called "Ideal Standard" which are commonplace on Armitage Shanks toilets - which is what the toilet is.

So sometimes even something small can help out!

Cheers!
All the best
