Thought I was done with questions....
Is there a need (code) to provide extra joist support for a toilet? Looking around I see some toilets that have a chase built around them and many others that do not. The subfloor is 5/8" OSB and will be covered with 3/4" hardwood or porcelain tile. The flange will be placed on the finished floor.
