Do I need a Slip Sheet?

Redoing master shower and I was going to lay a preslop on my Cement slab, But not sure if i need to lay a slip sheet or can I put the PreSlope down on My Cement slab foundation?

You are talking about the preslope before you install the shower pan liner material, correct?

If so, I have always seen the preslope applied directly to the concrete.
