new Heat-Flo has been running fine since Dec install.
The boiler return is hot to the touch. The hot water out is warm at best.

The boiler is a Slant-Fin Bobcat installed in Nov. 2010. Is has been running fine, but I have heard some clicking from within on occasion.
No Error is indicated on boiler. But it seems to be cycling a lot. Every 3 to 5 minues. Outside temp is indicated on the panel as 55º but it is 43º.
dhw shows a temp of 180 to 210º.
return shows 139º.
no temp is shown on boiler for dhw. I'd have thought the Heat-Flo has a sensor in it, but perhaps just the aquastat to send to the boiler.
supply water temp is 194º
wp is around 15psi

whats wrong with this picture?

I just toggled the power switch to see if the Slant Fin needed a reset.

House heat is fine.

no sorry. should have been clearer. everywhere in the house

If all dhw fixtures are affected sounds like it may be a mixing valve issue, I have removed the mixing valve cartridge and soaked it in vinegar you may want to order another cartridge just to have one as a back up

I think this is the mix valve. It sits between cold in and hot water out. It's brand new too.
how would I remove, if possible. or should I try to tweak it, see if it's lost it's mind?
Looks to be a Taco 5000 series

That green top will pop off with a flat head screw driver under that you will be able to raise the temp you can get that cartridge online but there are two styles or temperature ranges you need to know that
It should be on the valve somewhere

tried a little tweak on the mix valve. The pipes to and from the Heat-Flo have cooled a lot. Think it'll be a no shower night.
The boiler cycling is bothering me. Ill have to call the Heat-Flo installer tmrw to get a Monday appt ... hopefully.

I did. But the plumber is coming tmrw. Seems to me there is a boiler issue with the short cycling.
Hoping it's just a new pilot or flame sensor and not ignition module or varmint in the exhaust flue, although if it were the later, I'd think I'd know by now.

air in system. bled and back to normal. Checked Slant Fin Bobcat and it's rotting. So hopefully make the fall and install new.
He suggested a Burnham PV203 for durability rather then any HE boiler. Which after only 12 years with this, seems a smarter idea.
$8 to $12k, keeping existing zone work as all that's fine. Reroute exhaust and intake flues.
