Delta Vero Faucet Cartridge Replacement

Hi All
I have a Delta Vero 3553LF https://www.deltafaucet.ca/bathroom/product/3553LF#specsTab
It was leaking from the valve, so I figured I could replace the cartridge. It's been tough and I am here hoping for some help. Please see the attached documents.
I removed the set screw, handle, and the glide ring. I screwed off the stem extender. I can see the cartridge but I am unable to pull it off. I have used PB Blaster and CLR. It's not working. Do you have any suggestions? Am I reading the drawings wrong and maybe I need to do something else instead of pulling off the cartridge.

All delta cartridges are held in place on to a valve body/shank with a simple nut which is not exposed yet. What shows in that trim is that you have yet to get to the valve body itself.... Sorry. that little slot, try to pop it out, have to figure out what holds the trim on to the valve body underneath.
