Delta lever for toto toilet?

Hi, I bought a Toto drake toilet for my newly remodeled bathroom. I've got beautiful Delta (Brizo) fixtures and I wanted to match the style and install the matching toilet tank lever. Someone said I couldn't use a universal lever from Delta on the Toto. Is this true? I can only use Toto lever on a Toto toilet?

Get one and try it. Many handles are universal.
