Delta Faucet issue.

I have a Delta pull down kitchen faucet model # 9192-DST. I soaked the sprayhead in vinegar recently and now the spray button is very hard to switch between the spray patterns. I did spray some silicone spray around the button area which didn't help. Is there a way to free up this rocker type button ? The Faucet was installed about 12 years ago. I don't have the original purchase receipt and don't think I registered it at that time. Will Delta supply a new sprayhead ?

Yes, what you’re trying to do is get a new spray head for free. The new spray head itself won’t break the bank, but that’s what you need. Free is better…

Supply house has the sprayhead for $118.95 hell, few bucks more I can get the entire faucet. Amazon $155.00

Neither would I ! Actually , I did find the original receipt dated 7/12/2012 . Now does Delta offer a lifetime warranty on this unit ?

Yes, they offer a lifetime warranty for the user who purchased the item. It is not transferable to new owners, but with talking with Delta's customer service many times in the past, the folks are very nice and accommodating.

A true "customer service" company.

Personally I would tell them that the spray head quit working correctly, which it did and I wouldn't even mention anything
about soaking it in vinegar. They might say you ruined it.

Yes, you’re entitled to the lifetime warranty.

If they don’t have the part then they’ll replace the faucet with a comparable model.
